This message is intended for Phase 3 districts only.  Please see the attached list of Phase 3 districts listed by regional Intermediate Unit. 

 

As a reminder, your Special Education Plan must be submitted to the Bureau of Special Education by May 1, 2014.

 

Also take notice that “A SCHOOL DISTRICT SHALL MAKE ITS SPECIAL EDUCATION PLAN AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION AND COMMENT FOR A MIMIMUM OF 28 DAYS PRIOR TO APPROVAL OF THE PLAN BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND SUBMISSION OF THE PLAN TO THE DEPARTMENT.”  Please adjust your internal planning timeline accordingly.
