Good afternoon Comprehensive Plan Users,

 

The PA Planning Support Team would like to remind all Phases of their timelines below.  (If needed, please reference the attached Phase Configuration document for your assigned phase.)

 

Phase I- Comprehensive Plans due 11/30/15 to implement 7/1/16 through 6/30/19

Phase II- (Submitted 11/30/13 to implement 7/1/14 through 6/30/17) Next Comprehensive Plan due 11/30/16 to implement 7/1/17 through 6/30/20

Phase III- Comprehensive Plans due 11/30/14 to implement 7/1/15 through 6/30/18

 

The 3 and 6 year plans are on the same schedule.  Entities are in compliance when they submit their Comprehensive Plan every 3 years (hence the phases).  The 3 and 6 year plans are on the same cycle as an entities’ Comprehensive Plan. 

·         3 Year Plans include: Professional Education, Special Education, Pre-K Program Implementation, Technology

·         6 Year Plans include: Teacher Induction, Student Services, Gifted Education

*See attached document that outlines individual plan requirements for School Districts, Charter Schools (including Cyber CS), AVTS/CTC, and Intermediate Units. Please note: Chapter 4 revisions HAVE been approved and were in the March 1, 2014 PA Bulletin.   The required components/fields will be clearly indicated in the plan.  Please note that the fields will not be labeled in the CP Web Application until May 1, 2014; however, his should NOT delay your planning process.
