Good afternoon,

The email below was sent as a reminder for School Districts to update their SEPRNs using the Comprehensive Planning web application.  Please note that school districts will only need to do a SEPRN if changes are made to the profile.  If no changes are made to the Program Profile section, a SEPRN does not need to be submitted.  The requirement is that school districts review the Program Profile annually, but if nothing has changed, you do not need to take any action.  SEPRNs are a process for districts who have moved classes, changed classes or added positions to inform the State about these changes.  Again, if your district has not made any changes to the Program Profile section, you do not need to go through the submission process as mentioned below.

This message is intended for School Districts only

Hello,

As a reminder, all school districts are required to update their Special Education Plan Revision Notice (SEPRN) on an annual basis.  Please be sure to submit your SEPRN, following the process below, 30 days prior to your proposed implementation.  The SEPRN functionality is live in the Comprehensive Plan web application so that Special Education directors and/or supervisors have the ability to update and revise the information in the Program Profile section of your District’s Special Education Plan.  Please note that you must have an approved and archived Special Education Plan in your Comprehensive Plan for the SEPRN to function properly.

Attached you will find a screencast that outlines the process for updating and revising the SEPRN.  There are visual directions below as well.  *Please note that from the Status and History Screen you will select your most recently approved Special Education Plan*
