The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) is pleased to announce that the new Future Ready Comprehensive Portal is set to be released on February 3, 2020.

Join members of the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the PA Planning Team to review basic navigation tips as you work through the final stages of your comprehensive planning process. 

The face-to-face training opportunities can be found below:

·       February 3, 2020 – Harrisburg PaTTAN – Dauphin Room (6340 Flank Dr, Harrisburg, PA 17112)

·       February 4, 2020 – Malvern PaTTAN – Elm Conference Room (333 Technology Dr, Malvern, PA 19355)

·       February 11, 2020 - Pittsburgh PaTTAN – Moneghalia- Gate Code 40358 (3190 William Pitt Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15238) 

A morning and afternoon training session will be offered at each of the sites. Both sessions will be identical, so please choose the time that best suits your schedule. The morning session will run from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and the afternoon session will be from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  Please be sure to bring a laptop with you, as most of our time will be spent within the online Portal.

If you are unable to attend a face-to- face session, a recording will be posted here under “Recorded Trainings” after the conclusion of the face-to-face sessions.

In preparation for the launch of the new planning portal, our team has offered several sessions over the last four months.  If you were unable to join us for the previous sessions, the list below provides links to each month’s content:

·       Introduction to the New Planning Process (August 2019): A template was shared to allow LEAs to begin planning using the new process.  Please click here for an updated copy of the planning template.  A few changes to the Needs Assessment portion were made as the portal design process unfolded in late fall.

·       Future Ready PA Index as the Foundation of the Needs Assessment (October 2019) – A webinar was offered to walk LEAs through using Future Ready PA Index data to begin the Needs Assessment Process.  To access the recording of that session, please click here.

·        Essential Practices for Districts (December 2019) – A webinar was offered to introduce LEAs to the Essential Practices for Districts framework and process for an evidence-based self-assessment of current implementation of the essential practices.
